Photography Comes First!
Professional Photographer Peggy Farren started offering photography classes and free events in December of 2009 and it has spiraled into an active, fun photography group! We have over 400 members and offer free walkabouts, inexpensive classes and model shootouts. We are a mix of beginners, advanced amateurs and professional photographers - getting together to learn and share our passion!
Are you looking for a beginning photography class? Start with our "DSLR operation and exposure basics" workshop. We hold it every four to six weeks. Most people do not need to be lectured to in a classroom or take some boring internet class for six weeks to learn basic photography. We'll teach you to shoot in the manual setting in just a couple hours.
From there you might want to learn sunset portraiture, or studio lighting, macro photography, HDR or another course we are holding. We are continuously offering more and diverse photography workshops and model shootouts.
